Each year at the Spring Full Faculty meeting, the Faculty of Health Professions recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to academic and research excellence.

Dr. Jacqueline Gahagan has received this years Canadian Public Health Association (CPHA) Ron Draper Health Promotion Award in recognition of her research and advocacy at the municipal, provincial and national levels.

Young stroke survivors face the unique challenge of how the stroke will impact their future. An interprofessional approach to stroke recovery can help young survivors create a new vision of the future for themselves.

This year the College of Pharmacy debuted a mentorship program, which pairs a first or second year pharmacy student with a practicing pharmacist.

Wisdom 2 Action brought together community and religious leaders, youth workers and government representatives from across Canada to look at solutions to youth radicalization. A report on the event outcomes is being released today.
