The School of Physical Therapy at the University of South Alabama, where Dr. George Turnbull worked before coming to Dalhousie, has renamed its Jim Wall PT Scholarship to the "James C. Wall/George Turnbull PT Scholarship" to recognize Dr. Turnbull's contributions to the program. Dr. Turnbull, who passed away on March 7, 2012, was the Chair of the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Alabama and is held in the highest regard by the physiotherapy community - both in that state, and here in Nova Scotia.
