Researchers from Dalhousie University and University College Cork in Ireland have recently published a systematic review that assessed the impact of the STOPP (Screening Tool of Older Person's Prescriptions) and START (Screening Too lto Alert Doctors to Right Treatment) screening tools.

Dr. Ingrid Sketris implemented a unique service learning program during the ten year period of her Chair in Health Services Research, which was funded by CHSRF/CIHR and cosponsored by the Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation.

Dr. Ingrid Sketris received the Senior Research Award for the Faculty of Health Professions.
