Bio
My research has always centered around the ability to measure motor and cognitive abilities outside of the lab setting. My PhD specifically focused on affordances and understanding how individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder are better able to cooperate with others in a theory of mind motor paradigm. During my post-doc I worked with the Kitchener Rangers (OHL; semi-professional hockey team) as a consultant for their concussion protocols. Following this I worked clinically as an R. KIN at Myoworx Physiotherapy Clinic (Guelph, Ontario). This allowed me to get clinical experience and better understand concussion management and treatment. My current research is centered around using mobile measures of motor control and learning and how it applies to different community groups, especially for concussions.
In addition, I am a KANS Board Member, registered kinesiologist, and R.Kin (Ontario; retired).
