Biological Engineering

Labs

Several modern and well equipped laboratories for biological engineering research are housed in participating departments in the Faculty of Engineering. These include laboratories for biochemical analysis, waste treatment, soil erosion, and hydraulics. Graduate students also are able to use excellent analytical and research facilities in the Bio-Environmental Engineering Centre.

Equipment

All graduate students have access to modern computers and the technical support of experienced research technicians in various engineering departments. Each student is assigned personal study space in the graduate student room in the newly-built "N" Building on the Sexton Campus. A small laboratory adjacent to the graduate student office is available for temporary research projects in biological engineering.
