Applying to Co‑op

When to apply

Students generally apply to the co-op program in September of their third year. The work terms may begin in September, January or May of the third year, depending on the program.

Before you apply

• The Online Co-op Orientation and Job Competition Preparation Course is a pre-requisite for all engineering co-op work term classes. It must be completed one term prior to the first work term. (Students must register by January 15 and the course must be completed by April 15, for the fall work term.) The grade will be Pass/Fail. The course fee is $300.

Co-op requirements

Work term report. Monthly experience records. Performance appraisal. It is your responsibility to ensure that all requirements for the co-op program are completed during your work term.
