Biography:

Dr. Darrel A. Doman was born in Montréal, Québec on July 13, 1978. After completing his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo he moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia to undertake his doctoral studies at Dalhousie University as a NSERC PGS scholar. Dr. Doman was a NSERC Postdoctoral Fellow in 2008 and took up his appointment in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Dalhousie in January 2009. In August 2013 Dr. Doman became the Department Head of Mechanical Engineering. He lives in Halifax with his wife and two children.
