Mechanical Engineering at the 2019 Dalhousie Engineering Capstone Conference
Mechanical Engineers make our world a better place: from building more environmentally-friendly cars to designing the intricate machinery of a prosthetic hand to exploring renewable sources of energy, Dalhousie's mechanical engineering graduates will make critical contributions to the future of our society.
At the 2019 Dalhousie Engineering Capstone Conference, twenty-five teams of senior mechanical engineering students presented projects ranging from the manufacturing of custom contact lenses for the colorblind to transfer chairs for bedridden inpatients to landing platforms for underwater autonomous vehicles. The posters presenting these projects can be seen below.
