Emergencies

The Faculty of Dentistry always tries to provide emergency dental treatment in a timely fashion in our Emergency Clinic for people who are experiencing pain, bleeding, or swelling.

If you have a dental emergency, call Patient Services at 902.494.2101. Our clerks are available from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 to 4:00 PM during the academic school year. They will talk to you about the nature of the problem and provide you with an appropriate appointment.

Current active patients who require after-hours emergency assistance should also call Patient Services at 902.494.2101. An operator will be available to help you from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on weekdays and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekends and holidays.
