Industry Showcase: Ubisoft
Ubisoft Halifax is a mobile game studio under the widely recognized international video game publisher, Ubisoft Entertainment. The team includes more than 80 employees with a diversity of expertise, including but not limited to, Programming, 3D Art, Monetization/Data Analytics, Game Design and Project management. With their creativity and skillsets, the Ubisoft Halifax has worked on a wide range of mobile games such as Assassins Creed Rebellion (ACR) and Rainbow Six Mobile (R6M), whic quickly established them as one of Canada’s top Mobile Game Studios.
This industry showcase will include a studio tour to discuss the overall game development pipeline, the various contributions Programmers provide within mobile game development, and what you may expect as a prospective job seeker looking to enter the video game industry. You’ll speak with a representative from Ubisoft Halifax’s Human Resources Team as well as Technical Director to outline the various opportunities and challenges one may expect as an emerging Game Developer.
