CoonectCS

Computer science is a field for the curious and it’s at the centre of everything we do. Computer science is in demand, not only here in Nova Scotia but around the world and across all industries.

A computer science degree is the key to well-paid, flexible, and fulfilling work opportunities. Where you can match your interests with roles that make a difference.

Your experience

We have a strong community of students, staff and faculty, including two active and engaged undergraduate student societies. Our flexible program options give you real world experience through co-op, projects, and extracurricular activities to provide you with not only the technical knowledge you need but also an understanding of technology’s impact on society.

Financial opportunities

We offer entrance scholarships for Bachelor of Applied Computer Science, Bachelor of Computer Science, as well as Women in Technology, Indigenous and African Nova Scotian/African Descent students to help get you started. After that, many of our students enter our co-op program and find fulfilling placements here in Halifax - and away if that's what you're interested in - and earn around $14,000 a term.
