- Where are you from? Dhaka, Bangladesh.
- What degree are you taking? Bachelor of Computer Science.
- What do you enjoy the most about being a student ambassador? The thing that I enjoy the most being a student ambassador is being able to represent the faculty and convey all that Dal FCS has to offer to students. I think its a great opportunity for me to make the CS community stronger.
Rachael Eruokwu

- What do you enjoy the most about being a student ambassador? My favourite part about being a student engagement ambassador is getting to organize fun yet impactful events for all students interested in Computer Science! I love being able to positively represent my faculty, inspiring and supporting my peers wherever I go.

- What do you enjoy the most about being a student ambassador? I like being able to meet new and prospective students and talk to them about computer science, show them just how much they can do with that degree and the connection between many different and distinct fields and computer science.

- What do you enjoy the most about being a student ambassador? I am passionate about networking and mentoring others. As a Student Ambassador, I enjoy representing the Faculty at events, building meaningful connections, and helping both prospective and current students discover opportunities that align with their interests in computer science. It’s an incredibly rewarding experience, especially when I get to advocate for diversity and inclusion, such as supporting women in tech and inspiring them to pursue careers in this dynamic field.

- What do you enjoy the most about being a student ambassador? I enjoy working as the FCS Student Engagement Ambassador because it allows me to contribute to my fellow students’ well-rounded university experience. I believe that each event and program could represent a unique opportunity in a student’s life and career. This is what makes my role incredibly rewarding.

- What do you enjoy the most about being a student ambassador? I take great pleasure in being a part of our faculty, not only as a student but also as a representative. I thoroughly enjoy assisting prospective students, showing them the incredible aspects of our faculty, which continually reminds me of the privilege of being here.

- What do you enjoy the most about being a student ambassador? By being a student leader i get the opportunity to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds. I love hearing their stories and what led them to dalhousie university. Also, i get the chance to help students who might not be sure what they want to do. i hope my work and presentations will lead them to make the right decisions for themselves.

I hope to bring my perspective as someone who has grown startups in the rapidly evolving tech landscape of Southeast Asia to Atlantic Canada and Dalhousie University. At the same time, I aim to promote the Canadian values and academic excellence of Dalhousie to prospective students in Southeast Asia.
