PORT 1010.03

If you have always wanted to learn about Brazil and to be able to communicate there, consider taking PORT 1010.03.  It's an introduction to this fascinating country, its language and its vibrant culture. In PORT 1010, you'll gain basic competence in Brazilian Portuguese, with an emphasis on communication and culture.

This course will be of particular interest to students in Spanish & Latin American Studies, IDS, SOSA, and History, but all are welcome!

Prerequisite: two years' study of any other Romance language (French, Spanish, Italian, Catalan...) or permission from the instructor (TBD).
