SOSA student Jillian Murphy earns the 2020 Glovin Award
Jillian Murphy, who will be completing her degree this year with a major in Sociology and Social Anthropology, a minor in Business, and an undergraduate certificate in Disability Management, has won the 2020 Irving and Jeanne Glovin Award of $4000 for her essay entitled "Playful Ways of Learning Good Human Conduct". She wrote a first version for Dr. Martha Radice's fourth-year special topics class on Happiness, Play, and Celebration, and then revised and expanded it to enter the FASS essay competition. Congratulations, Jillian!
