After completing her ARCT in Piano Performance, she went on to work with several community and church choirs, both as accompanist and director. She later moved to Ireland to study music, graduating from University College Cork in 2023.

Angela has a variety of musical interests, including teaching, performing, music production and sound engineering. Her research interests are focused on music-making in spaces of detention. Angela’s current research blends her background in criminology with her knowledge of music, exploring the benefits that choral singing have on those who are incarcerated, while in prison and after release.

In her free time, Angela enjoys photography, cooking and planning her next holiday.
