2023 Stanfield Conversation: Can Democracies meet the Challenge of Climate Change?
This year’s event in the Dalhousie University Stanfield Conversations: Talking Democracy series will welcome featured speakers Megan Leslie (LLB’04), Naheed Nenshi and Mark Jaccard with CBC Radio host and Dal alum, Jeff Douglas (BSc’93) as moderator. This talk will focus on the need for robust and far-reaching climate action amid the pressures within democracies to agree on and implement sufficiently strong and consistent policies.
