Study in Bolivia or Ghana
Global Development Studies (GDST) at Trent offers study abroad programs that provide students the opportunity to spend a semester or full academic year in Ghana or Bolivia. GDST Study Abroad Programs are part of the GDST curriculum and combine university course work in the Global South with valuable experiential learning. Students receive full semester or full-year course credit, all transferable to Dalhousie.

- partake in classes offered by Ghanaian academics and professionals
- participate in field trips
- live with a Ghanaian host family
- January-April: undertake a twelve-week placement with a development or community-based organisation
- Based in Sucre, Bolivia’s capital in the southern Andean highlands
- January - April:
- partake in classes offered by Bolivian academics and professionals
- Hone your Spanish language skills to fluency with intensive Spanish instruction
- live with a Bolivian host family
