Note: The Faculty's equipment is available only to students, staff, and faculty.

Windows Computers
The Faculty has 14 Windows 10-based computers for student use. They are Dell Optiplex 7090 computers: i5, with 16GB of RAM and fast 512 SSD storage. Software includes:
- Adobe Creative Cloud
- ArcGIS Pro
- AutoCAD
- Autodesk Fusion
- Blender
- Microsoft Office 365
- PrusaSlicer (3D/laser printer slicer)
- Revit
- Rhino 7
- SketchUp Pro
- Ultimaker Cura (3D printer slicer)
Other Equipment
Ceiling-mounted digital projectors with HDMI connections are installed in Rooms B102, 1202, and 1208. There are also two 50" mobile screens on the second floor, two 50" mobile screens on the first floor, and three 65" mobile screens in the Exhibition Room.
Access and Support
Dal Computers Need a Dal NetID
- See the online instructions to activate your NetID and set your password.
- Use any lab computer in the university.
Security
All of the computer equipment in the labs is connected to an alarm system that is monitored by Dalhousie Security. Removing equipment will trigger the alarm.
Reporting Problems
If you notice a hardware or software problem with a Windows computer, go to the computer's Troubleshooting window and send an e-mail message to Information Technology Services: support@dal.ca.
