How did you become interested in Engineering?
I like that engineering allows me to combine my interest in sustainability with my love for problem-solving and entrepreneurship. I get to use creativity to solve real-world problems!
Why did you choose to study on the Truro campus?
I had the opportunity to run for the university Cross-Country team. The campus values hands-on experience and the small class sizes are great for getting to know your professors and peers.
You are involved in extracurriculars. How do you balance the heavy workload with personal time?
The Truro campus offers a reduced course load option for engineering students. This option made my transition from high school smooth and helped me balance my workload and personal time. Taking advantage of the study resources offered on campus also made my workload easy to manage.
Best advice for future students?
A benefit of being on a small campus is easier access to resources and opportunities. Take advantage of the ones that come your way.
