The Maritime Beef Council, Springboard Atlantic & Dalhousie’s Faculty of Agriculture are hosting Beef Day @ Dal on Saturday, November 25 10:00am-7:00pm at the Dalhousie Agriculture Campus in Truro, Nova Scotia.
Beef Day @ Dal will bring together beef farmers, researchers and government supporters to discuss current challenges and opportunities in the beef industry. There will be updates on academic research, presentations from the Maritime and Canadian Beef groups, a Carcass Ultrasound Demonstration (offsite) and a special short documentary screening of “Reduce, Reuse Ruminate” and panel during the evening dinner and networking Reception!
Reduce, Reuse, Ruminate -- "...the latest short documentary from the award-winning team behind Guardians of the Grasslands. It explores the role of cattle in upcycling items that people either can’t – or won’t – consume, diverting millions of tonnes of food loss and waste from landfills every year."
