Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate, develop course modules
· Teach online courses
· Responsible for all aspects of coordinating the program, developing course modules, communicating with students online, teaching online courses and test preparation and evaluation; organizing and presenting at the summer school.
· This position works collaboratively with the Instructors in Horticulture, Manager Botanical Garden Unit and Extended Learning.
· The position reports to the Chair of the Department.
Qualifications:
At least one year experience in teaching in a postsecondary educational institution, Excellent oral, written communication skills, collegiality and interpersonal skills. Online teaching experience is critical. A Masters degree with two years experience in Landscape Horticulture is required.
