Extended Learning is exploring an exciting new opportunity to potentially host some educational classes and/or workshops utilizing Cultiv8’s Farm Stand location on campus. We are conducting a training survey to collect feedback from campus, the community and stakeholders on opportunities they would like to see offered. The survey will take approximately 10 minutes. Your feedback is very important to us and your responses are anonymous. Thank you in advance for taking the time to fill out this brief survey and please forward it along to anyone you see fit.
Link to the survey: Farm Stand Training Survey. Survey closes November 12th at noon.
Additional Information on the Farm Stand Garden- At the Dalhousie Faculty of Agriculture, there is a new and exciting garden - the Cultiv8 Farm Stand. Under the essential service of agriculture with focus on food security and climate emergency reversal, this is a market vegetable production garden which seeks to model solutions for small vegetable farmers, and provide applied opportunities for students, teachers, researchers, industry and community toward a culture of innovation. The Farm Stand donates food to the Truro Food Bank, and sells to the on-campus food service provider and the campus faculty, staff and students.
Should you wish to provide further feedback, please feel free to send it to extended.learning@dal.ca
