Congratulations to Tom and Natalie Cole who were recently selected to be highlighted in Truro’s “Nominate your Neighbour” program, which is intended to celebrate people in our community who embody the “make the connection” town brand.
Tom and Natalie Cole take pride in their neighbourhood and have lived in the East End of Truro for 20 years. They are stewards for the Herb Peppard Park, sitting on the planning committee and have been active members of the East End Community Association for several years. They are friendly neighbours, seeking to make their neighbourhood a great place to live.
A nominee stated: I am nominating Tom and Natalie Cole as they have been watching over the neighborhood for years. They were the first homeowners to completely transform a tired old home into one that brings pride to the community. They changed the landscape of the Alice Street area. They are also good stewards for the Herb Pepppard Park by watching for vandals and the safety of the neiborhood children. In the summer months the Coles can be caught on the front veranda chatting with all who pass by. Truro needs more good neighbors like Tom and Natalie.
Congratulations!
