Dear Dalhousie Colleague,
The Senior Women’s Academic Administrators of Canada Conference (SWAAC) being held in Halifax from April 26th-28th , and we are one of the five hosts of this great opportunity for professional development and networking for women in academia interested in leadership. Whether a current SWAAC member or not, women leaders across the academy will be welcomed. We hope you will participate and encourage other developing women leaders at Dal to attend – talk to your Dean or Director about support!
Co-hosted by Dalhousie University, Saint Mary’s University, St. Francis Xavier University, NSCAD University and the Nova Scotia Community College, the 2018 SWAAC Program includes a refreshing mix of keynote speakers, including the renowned Senator Bernard and CFI President O’Reilly Runte, panel discussions, concurrent sessions and networking social events. Not to mention the much anticipated annual awards banquet with a maritime flavor.
Don’t forget to register before the (newly extended) early bird deadline of April 5!
The program can be viewed at https://www.swaacconference.com/ along with information pertaining to registration and attractions.
Don’t miss the opportunity to join your peers from across the country for a day and one-half full of learning, sharing and socializing –in your own backyard!
We hope to see you in April – don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions!
