The Department of Engineering would like to introduce Marlee Davis, who started working with us as the Engineering Laboratory Technician on Oct. 16th.
Marlee’s responsibilities include the coordination of the Bio-Environmental Engineering Centre and working on the development and building of lab apparatuses and hands-on activities for courses under the engineering department umbrella. This strengthens our abilities to offer students practical experience through applied active learning fundamentals.
Marlee has a BSc in Mathematics and received her Mechanical Engineering Technologist diploma from NSCC. In the past she has worked in both construction and fabrication environments. She is energized and excited about the opportunity to help students at Dalhousie’s Faculty of Agriculture gain real-world experience in a classroom setting.
Marlee is located on the second floor of the Banting Annex and can be reached by phone 896-4494 or email m.davis@dal.ca .
