Over the last two years, The Chronicle Herald’s Now! Nova Scotia editorial series has told the stories of dozens of Nova Scotia businesses and organizations who are working to shape a better Nova Scotia. From medical advancements that are achieving global recognition, to innovative tourism businesses and manufacturing products being exported all over the world, we have a lot to be proud of.
Nominations are open until September 15th, and we’re pleased to once again be offering a $20,000 cash prize to one of our six award winners.
2016 nominees included the Annapolis Cider Company, TapRoot Farms and Farmer's Daughter Market. Peace by Chocolate won over the judges’ hearts with owner Tareq Hadhad’s amazing story of sacrifice and starting anew, and was awarded the $20,000 cash prize to help grow their family chocolate business in Antigonish.
You are encouraged to think about who you would nominate, and submit their story for a Good News Award. Nominations can be submitted online at http://NowNS.ca.
