The thermal plant at Dalhousie’s Agricultural Campus has been in use for close to 28 years and is near the end of its useful life. The university is upgrading the current heating plant building with a new biomass power boiler and generator that will promote and support existing and new sustainable biomass supply. Aging steam lines are being replaced with new hot water lines.
