EL, in partnership with the College of Continuing Education, will be offering an Effective Facilitation Course on Monday and Tuesday June 12-13, 2017.
Working with groups can be both exhilarating and extremely challenging. Frequently, despite the best-laid plans of facilitators, the unexpected happens. Sessions can rise and fall based on the facilitator’s understanding of, and ability to work with, the group’s dynamics. There are no secret pills that make dealing with these dynamics easy. However, Effective Facilitation will present a basic introduction to theories, strategies, skills and tools that can be helpful in dealing effectively with them.
The application deadline is Monday June 1, 2017.
