The Panopto integration in Brightspace has made it very easy for students to upload videos to their courses. The submission of videos as assignments is a way to engage students and increase innovation in teaching and learning. Once a Panopto “Assignment Folder” has been created, students can upload videos easily with a computer or with the mobile app.
To set up a Panopto Assignment Folder, visit our blog post (http://edtechtruro.edublogs.org/2016/10/31/brightspace-quick-tips-using-panopto-for-student-video-uploads/) to view our “Using Panopto for Student Video Uploads” resource document, and also “Student Guide for Uploading Videos to a Course Using Panopto”.
Note: Educational Technology & Design’s next Collaborative Learning Session will be hosted by Sherry Chaisson, who will share her experience using PowerPoint and Adobe Captivate to showcase media in Brightspace. Join us for the November 28th session, from 1-2 pm in Haley 236.
