Join Paul Kasanga, Manager of Dalhousie Faculty of Agriculture’s ATTSVE Project office in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia as he presents an overview and update on this development project which includes student internship, faculty and staff international engagement and research opportunities.
ATTSVE aims to enhance current Ethiopian agricultural education programmes and improve the capacity of four Agriculture Technical & Vocational Education & Training (ATVET) Colleges in four Regions including Maichew, Nejo, Wolaita Soddo and Woreta. Our implementing partners include McGill University, Mennonite Economic Development Associates of Canada (MEDA) and Jimma University College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine (JUCAVM) in Ethiopia.
This $18M+ bilateral project between Canada and Ethiopia, funded through Global Affairs Canada (GAC), began in 2014 and continues until 2019!
