United Way Campaign 2016

Posted by stepanie rogers on October 11, 2016 in News

Today we kick off our United Way Campaign 2016.

We need your help to make this year’s campaign a huge success – our success will benefit so many in our own community.  Over the next couple of weeks there will be a lot of events to take part in – I will keep posted.

Also, the best and easiest way to give to the United Way is through payroll deduction; if you would like a form, please contact Elaine Osmond, Kendra Mellish, or Marilyn Roberts.

The smallest of contributions can go a long way.

$2/pay  (26 pays) or $5/pay (12 pays) = four weeks of healthy snacks for children attending local playgroups.

$10/pay (26 pays) or $22/pay (12 pays) = Allows an adult learner to gain literacy skills to improve their life

$38.47/pay (26 pays) or $84/pay (12 pays) = Provides 33 children with a basic supply kit to go back to school.

We have the opportunity to change lives of people in our own community.
