Do you have Research Assistants responsible for doing literature searches, citation management etc. in support of research? Do you have Teaching Assistants responsible for assisting students with finding information for their research papers? The new Research Bootcamp offered by the Dalhousie Libraries may be just the thing. The objective of the bootcamp is to develop and/or refresh the literature searching and information management abilities of research assistants, teaching assistants, and graduate students.
Register your students for foundation sessions then select from a suite of U-pick subject-and skills-based sessions. Registration will remain open until 28 April 2016. Go to: http://dal.ca.libguides.com/ResearchBootcamp for all the details. Select the location that you will be attending (Halifax, Truro, Saint John).
