Students are more academically successful when they know what they are expected to learn and understand how they will be assessed.  This workshop will follow the process of developing learning objectives and appropriate assessment practices to optimize student/teacher expectations and success. The use of learning objective ‘language’, and appropriate assessment and feedback techniques will be presented in this interactive workshop. Participants are requested to bring to the session a syllabus and an assignment currently used in their course.
