New Partnership between Extended Learning and Green Diamond Equipment

Posted by Stephanie Rogers on January 12, 2016 in News

Extended Learning at Dalhousie University Faculty of Agriculture is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with Green Diamond Equipment.

To improve the Green Diamond Equipment customer experience, Extended Learning and Green Diamond are working together to develop and deliver an online agricultural product training program called the Ag Training Series for Green Diamond staff.

Five online modules will be developed for Green Diamond. These modules include: Considerations in Equipment Selection, Dairy, Beef, Potatoes and Blueberries. These modules will begin to be delivered in spring 2016.

Each module is designed to be 1.5-2 hours in length and will be completed independently at the employees’ place of work. Modules have visual graphics, audio voice-over, interactive quizzes and activities and many other pertinent aspects of a modern online course.

This training is 100 per cent online and unlike anything else Extended Learning has created. It’s an exciting project and Extended Learning is happy to share the news with the Agricultural Campus and its partners at Green Diamond.

Green Diamond Equipment is a supplier of quality John Deere products with 13 locations across Atlantic Canada.
