Canadian PMA & Foundation for Industry Talent Career Pathways Program

The Department of Business & Social Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture is calling for applications for four students to attend the CPMA Career Pathways Program.

To be held in Calgary between 12th -15h April 2016 the Career Pathways Program is held in conjunction CPMA Convention and Trade Show and this is a great opportunity for students interested in a career in the produce industry (fruit and vegetables)

Over the three days, students will learn about the numerous career opportunities available to them in the produce industry and will attend a number of networking events and customized education sessions. Each student will also be given a Career Ambassador that will guide the student throughout the experience.

In the past, students left the program with new industry connections, greater knowledge of the career opportunities available and a feel for the true passion of the produce industry.


All flights, accommodation, transfers and most meals will be paid for by the program. This is specifically for students under the Agr. Business, Agr. Economics and Int’l Food Business programs.

1. Why you feel qualified to attend, and
2. How this program will benefit you.

When deciding the four successful applicants, preference will be given to students who are in their third year of study, not currently working in the produce industry and who have not accepted a job in the industry.
