These summer students grew the Atlantic Giant pumpkins on display around campus. There were nine in total grown. The one shown here is 88.9KGs
The students were working for Plant Science in the demonstration garden, orchard and field plots as well as in the Chef’s garden. They planted and maintained our classroom teaching plots all summer and took growing these pumpkins on as a sideline activity for fun. Mike Main was their ‘guide’ and supervisor.
