Dalhousie's Faculty of Agriculture Female Leaders in Academe took up the call to rise and shared their reasons to rise with the campus and community. FLIA lead, Dr. Sarah Stewart-Clark encouraged members to participate and along with Dr. Dian Patterson, Dr. Kathleen Kevany and other DAL colleagues, joined an estimated 1000 strong community group gathered to support Catherine Campbell's family and to show solidarity with the police.
The tribute walk on Saturday night in Truro, started at Victoria Square to the Truro police station where there was a ceremony to remember the 36-year-old constable.
May we all have reason to rise and ways to achieve our goals thorugh peace and non-violence.
