The students of Dalhousie Agricultural Campus were all up and down Prince Street on Saturday, trying to reach their fundraising goal of $3,000. The leader of the group was Morgan Manthorne, a third-year animal science student who got involved for a very personal reason. Her aunt has cystic fibrosis – a genetic disorder that can cause blockages to the pancreatic ducts, intestines and lungs.
