Megan McCully (Class of ’15) has a passion for plants. But she didn’t always know she loved plants.

Stress ... we all feel it. We can't and shouldn't eliminate it completely, but we can learn practical, specific ways to reduce that "over-stressed" feeling and protect ourselves from its negative effects.

What if we could make the world a better place through the food we eat? What if our food counteracted certain diseases like cardiovascular disease and Type 2 diabetes? Faculty of Agriculture food chemist Chibuike Udenigwe is looking to do just that.

Marine Harvest’s Yingqiang (Richard) Zhang, BingXin (Robin) Hou, and Xueming (William) Gao have come a long way together, literally. The friends first met while attending studies in their home province of Fujian, China. Seven years later they’re still great friends and sharing residence in beautiful Campbell River
