It is a pleasure to introduce Paul Kasanga as the new In-Country Manager of the Agricultural Transformation Through Strong Vocational Education (ATTSVE) Project, Dalhousie University and based in Addis Ababa.
Paul has over 17 years experience in program management and leadership with wide-ranging experience in agriculture, food security, livelihoods, social protection, and economic development programming for both development and humanitarian programs in various countries, mainly in Africa and Caribbean.
Paul is joining us from Save the Children Ethiopia office where he worked as a Chief of Party, managing a five year bilateral project focusing on food security and economic growth that was funded by DFATD. He has a broad grasp of socio-economic policy issues with respect to agricultural transformation and economic development in Ethiopia. He possesses an understanding and experience of gender and diversity issues and is committed to addressing inequalities in agriculture, food security and economic development programming.
Previously, Paul has also been involved in providing technical leadership at regional and country levels for major agriculture and economic growth programs for organizations such as World Vision and Child Fund International. Paul holds a M.A. in Leadership from York St John University, UK.
Paul’s knowledge and experience in the area of agriculture and livelihoods transformation enable him to manage the effective delivery of the ATTSVE project results and outcomes.
