4-H Nova Scotia is a youth development organization which promotes leadership, encourages the care and responsibility of our resources and builds positive life skills to secure a sustainable future for Nova Scotia.
4-H Nova Scotia is seeking a Marketing/Fund Development Coordinator on a part-time basis.
Successful candidates will have excellent people skills and must be outcome oriented. The ability to work in a fast paced environment with close attention to detail is essential. You must have the ability to juggle multiple projects with accuracy and have strong administrative skills. This position also acts as reception, directing calls and managing membership enquiries when required, you must have exceptional customer service skills in person and on the phone.
· Database Research and Management
· Website Content Management
· E-Newsletters, Social Media
· Understand and Support Fund Development Initiatives
· Event Support
QUALIFICATIONS
Two plus years work experience in an office setting with a preference in not for profit, with a strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills, some knowledge of design/creative and able to work independently effectively and efficiently.
PREFERRED SKILLS
WordPress, MSWord, Excel, Outlook. Microsoft Access, Simply Accounting
The present opportunity is a part time position, approximately 24 hours per week, there is potential opportunity for full time as the organization is growing.
