Student Services will be hosting Welcome Back Week 2015, Wednesday January 7th - Wednesday January 14th.
Monday January 5th - All NEW students are welcome to visit Student Services and meet a group of Student Ambassadors who will help to provide Orientation to the AC. New Students are asked to come to Student Services, main floor of the Dairy Building at 1:00.
Tuesday January 6th, 4:30-5:30 - Student Success office is open. Student Services, upper floor. Study Skills Refresher and Creating Academic Plans. All students are welcome to come.
Wednesday January 7th, 10am-1pm Services Fair. Cox Institute, main floor. Students are encouraged to visit the Services Fair to explore opportunities outside of the classroom. Students who attend the fair will have a chance to collect tickets and enter a prize draw hosted by Student Services. The Prize draw will take place on Thursday January 8th, Career Connections/Meet the Dean.
Wednesday January 7th, 12:00-1:00, Cox 160 U101.2 FOCUS (Finding Opportunities, Creating and Understanding Success). All students are encouraged to attend this seminar with Monica Sani-Berry.
Thursday January 8th, 5:00-6:00 Career Connections Advice with a Slice! 6:00-7:00 Meet the Dean. Riverview Room, Jenkins Hall. Students are invited to meet with Career Services and guest speakers to talk about making connections between academic and professional goals. Our guest speakers are alumni of the AC and have great advice about networking, using Alumni connections and creating plans for the future.
Dean Gray will welcome students back to campus while sharing a bite to eat! It doesn't stop there! Students who have gathered tickets during the Services Fair, U 101.2 and Career Connections will have a chance to win an iPad Mini.
Friday January 8th, Career Services is hosting Resumes on the Run in Cox Institute 11:00-1:00.
Wednesday January 14th, the Writing Centre and MAP Centre will host Open House, 6:00-8:00 in their respective locations.
*Student Success is open every Tuesday night in Student Services 4:30-5:30.
*Health Services Doctor Clinic is every Monday 12:00-3:30, beginning on January 19th.
*SAIL (Student Advancement in Leadership) meets every Thursday 6:00-7:00 in Cox 260
