Canadian Agriculture Literacy Week is coming up from March 1-7, 2015. The week is a time when school children are encouraged to celebrate agriculture in our province by reading books about farming.

A $10,000 Nova Scotia Research and Innovation Graduate Scholarship has helped Carolyn Wilson begin her graduate research thesis. The Dalhousie University Faculty of Agriculture student plans to determine the effect on soil quality when composts from different sources and varying lignin content are applied.

Agri-Scene Cuisine took home first prize at the Agricultural StartUp weekend held in the MacRae library this past weekend.

Dalhousie is well known for its Architecture program. Now the university’s architectural expertise is expanding in new ways thanks to the development of an undergraduate program in Landscape Architecture in the Faculty of Agriculture.

This year Dalhousie AC will be holding the second annual ECOlympics.
