Festive Craft Market
A very successful Craft Market was held last weekend with 70 vendors selling their crafts to local shoppers. With a good variety of items – tole painting, Christmas ornaments (hand painted), wooden kitchen items, paintings, wreaths (natural and ornamental) , toys, organic soaps , jewellery and much more the Langille Athletic Centre was busy with shoppers on both Saturday and Sunday.
Throughout the event, hourly draws were held with donations from the vendors and the Grand Prize of $500 was drawn at the end – Cindy Joe of Brookfield was the winner of the Grand Prize.
Teams assisted from Friday to Sunday in the set-up, admission, and clean-up. Thanks to a great group of student-athletes and coaches.
Thanks also to the many crafters and to staff and the community for supporting the event. A great start to the Holiday Season!
