Here are some events that you can take part in the 2014 Dalhousie Agricultural Campus United Way Campaign:

Wednesday, November 12 – 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

Specialty Cake Silent Auction

Main Lobby of the MacRae Library

There will be homemade and store bought delectable for folks to silently bid on to raise money for the United Way of Colchester County.

Drop by the MacRae Library, Wednesday, November 12th until 3:00 p.m.

From November 6 to November 13 its Engineering’s Throw Back Thursday

Identify the Faculty and Staff of the Engineering Department to be entered to win a prize.  Two ways to participate: $1. For a full card or .50 cents for one picture entries.

Images are available in the Banting Building.  All proceeds go to the United Way of Colchester County.

The Mock Jail is Back!

November 13, - 10:00 am – 2:00 pm in Front of Cumming Hall.

Your instructor, supervisor or EVEN the Dean can be held in jail for only $1.00 per minute.

Prisoners can buy themselves out by matching the price of remaining jail time or by filling out a payroll deduction form.

It is best to pre-book your prisoner for jail time before November 13 – just contact:

50/50 Tickets – Available from Donna Jamieson in Haley – donna.jamieson@dal.ca.  The 50/50 is University-wide, therefore, the pot can grow quickly.  Last year the winner won $2358.00

Great Potato Roll will take place this Campaign – the potatoes are currently in training – more details to follow.

Employee Payroll Deduction is the easiest way to give to the United Way of Colchester County.  You will provide much needed funds for many people in our own County.  You could also win a Designated Parking Spot”  on the Agricultural Campus.

Everyone who donates through the Employee Payroll Deduction Program will have their name entered into the contest for a Designated Parking Spot – a parking spot that you will have for the entire year.
