Senate Review of the Faculty of Graduate Studies
November 24th and 25th

The Dalhousie University Senate is conducting a review of the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Such reviews are key university accountability and quality improvement processes and are conducted on a regular cycle. Broad participation in the reviews is a vital component.

The Review Committee* for the Faculty of Graduate Studies invites input from all interested parties. Faculty, staff, students and alumni of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and associated academic units are particularly encouraged to participate in the review.

Open sessions for groups of faculty, staff and students have been scheduled as follows:
November 24th
November 25th
Cobequid Boardroom (Truro Campus)
Lord Dalhousie Room, Henry Hicks Building

9:30am-Students
10:00am-Staff
10:30am-Faculty
1:00pm-Students
1:30pm-Staff
2:00pm-Faculty

Individual and group appointments, in person, by videoconference or teleconference, can also be arranged with the Review Committee throughout the day on November 24th or 25th. Unless otherwise requested, and subject to overall demand, individual meetings with the Review Committee will be scheduled for 15 minutes’ duration, and group appointments for 30 minutes.’

Please note: Written submissions are also welcome and should be addressed to the Review Committee for the Faculty of Graduate Studies and either emailed or forwarded in confidence to Courtney Eisener at the above address. Verbal and written inputs are strictly confidential to the Review Committee. Your participation is most welcome and encouraged.
