As you may have noticed, the MacRae Library is undergoing some significant construction that began March 3^rd and is expected to be completed by the end of July. In the meantime, we are open for business as usual!

The exterior renovation involves the replacement and repair of all windows and brick on the building. Currently, scaffolding has been set up on the south and west sides of the building (the upper level at the parking lot and main door to the Library).

So what are the benefits? These changes will help make the building more efficient to heat and cool, stop leaking windows and replace an aging exterior. Our ultimate goal is to help protect and preserve the collection and make the environment more comfortable for you, our users.

We want you to know we are open for business during this time. However, because of the nature of these renovations, it might get a bit noisy sometimes. We have earplugs at the Service Point if you find the noise disruptive.
