Congratulations to fourth year aquaculture students Stephanie Hall and Yangfan Zhang who were selected in a competitive process to be two of four students that were chosen to present their research projects at the Sea Farmers Conference 2014 in Halifax on January 30th.
Of the four students who presented their research projects, Yangfan Zhang was selected by a panel of judges as the winner of the best student presentation and the Cathy Enright scholarship ($1000). This is the third year in a row that a Dalhousie Aquaculture student has taken top prize in this graduate and undergraduate student competition.

Congratulations to Stephanie and Yangfan for being such excellent ambassadors of our aquaculture program. Thanks to Eel Lake Oysters and Scotian Halibut who were partners with Stephanie and Yangfan in their research projects.
