The AC will be hosting a National Judging Competition on campus and at the MacMillan Show Center on Saturday, January 11th.
Teams from out of province will compete head-to-head with our own Aggie teams for Top Judge prizes. Classes will include beef, dairy, sheep, poultry, horse and goat, as well as non-livestock items including forages, mink pelts and potatoes.
Competitors will judge the classes consecutively in a timed rotation format, with time for giving oral reasons to the official judge for the class before moving on to the next one. The event will wrap up with an awards banquet in the evening for all competitors, sponsors, judges and campus dignitaries. Be sure to watch for the results and if you have a few minutes drop by and check out the competition on Saturday!
