100 Days of Listening - Final report

I’m pleased to announce that my report from 100 Days of Listening is now complete and available at dal.ca/100days.

When I started as Dalhousie’s president on July 1, I was eager to get to know Dal's communities and to start a dialogue on the university’s current and future directions. The result was 100 Days, a deliberate program of meetings, consultations and data gathering.

The response was terrific, with thousands of people connecting with me online and in person. That engagement exemplifies the passion and support for Dalhousie, both inside and outside our university. I sincerely thank all who participated.

The listening isn’t over. The report summarizes the key themes and priorities that emerged over the course of our conversation. Let us know if we got it right.

We will continue the conversation at Senate and other venues in 2014, and I also welcome your feedback online. By working together, we can move from listening to action as we shape Dalhousie’s future.

Sincerely,
Richard
